Project Title: Gravimetry Large Generator
Stakeholders: Brazilian Central Bank; Grupo Gestão; Serviço de Limpeza Urbana do Distrito Federal.
Problem: Large Vertical Generators are, in a simple way, big buildings that produce a big amount of waste. If this waste is not well managed, this one building can create several problems of pollution and loss of recyclables. We need to collect that waste and maximize the amount of it that gets back to the production value chains. However, to do so, we need to know: what kinds of materials are generated as waste there? That's the great question!
Context: The building of the Brazilian Central Bank is a large vertical generator. Therefore, they must face the challenge of continuously improving their waste management system. They need to collect their waste and maximize the amount of it that gets back to the production value chains, i.e., the amount that is recycled!
Objective: the goal of this project is to design an engineering methodology for the gravimetry of the Central Bank main building in Brasília.
